The centre is located at the junction of Archer and George Street in Woodford just 20 minutes west of Caboolture on the D'Aguilar Highway. Noted for its wide streets, grand old hotel and colonial style shops, it was one of the earliest settled areas of the shire and its history is reflected in several noted tourist spots. Woodford is also home to the Woodford Folk Festival, an event of international standing held over 6 days and nights in late December.
